The Trampformers are an indie-rock band from the Wirral Peninsula in the United Kingdom. They first performed at Calday Grange Grammar School and more recently have been featured on the BBC and at the Zanzibar Club in Liverpool. == Summary ==
When The Coral first became known in the late 1990s they influenced other guitar-driven bands from the Wirral to follow in their footsteps. One recently established group to attempt this is The Trampformers who, before any band member reached their 17th birthday, are notable for the following: (1) They were special guests for popular Liverpool band Amsterdam, (2) They first managed to play at an established and influential Liverpool music scene venue (The Zanzibar Club ) as part of a charity performance inaugurated by the Lord Mayor of Liverpool, (3) They received their second invitation to play at this venue within the same month of their debut and (4) They had their song ‘Drop The Key’ broadcast by the BBC.
